Cape Orange’s Jen Thompson joins LOUD WOMEN’s Alise Elberga for a lovely video chat ahead of the band’s appearance at LOUD WOMEN Fest Newport on Saturday 3 October.
As well as talking about Cape Orange and their music, Jen tells us how they first made contact with LOUD WOMEN and became part of our ever-growing international community of bands, artists and music-makers.
And if you’re in a band wondering, “How the hell do we get to play a LOUD WOMEN Fest?”, this interview contains some very useful pointers.
There’s no mysterious secret handshake. Jen talks about how that relationship with LOUD WOMEN developed, and offers some excellent advice for bands hoping to get involved, make connections and become part of this gorgeous DIY community.
