Brighton post-rock/folk quartet ladylike return with new single ‘Borrowed Time’, their first release since debut EP It’s A Pleasure Of Mine, to Know You’re Fine, released earlier this year.
‘Borrowed Time’ ticks like a watch that’s been reset a minute behind, capturing the feeling of lost connections that have slipped slightly out of sync. Blending slowcore and folk, the track explores distance, separation and time lost.
Vocalist/guitarist Georgia Butler shares:
“This track is loosely about losing contact with someone and how time goes by, your lives are separate and you never quite get back to the same place at the same time.”
