Yorkshire songwriter and producer Mollie Coddled shares new single ‘Raincloud’ – our earworm of the week.

Written during a difficult emotional period, trapped between cloudy emotions and dreary British weather, ‘Raincloud’ has a bright, radiant sound, like sunlight breaking through dark grey clouds.

“As someone who pushes it all down in an attempt to avoid spiraling into an emotional mess, I find it pretty impossible to cry. So, I’ve always used listening to sad songs as a way to purge my emotions and give myself permission to wallow; Raincloud is a manifestation of that (I want to cry every time I hear it now, hahaha).”

‘Raincloud’ previews a collection of new songs written while Mollie was rediscovering themselves following a late diagnosis of autism and ADHD.

“As someone living with Autism and ADHD, I want my songwriting to provide a place where people can feel seen and validated. That starts with being honest about how I really feel beneath the mask.”
