Halifax indie-pop gem Burry is very firmly part of the LOUD WOMEN family by now. They played our first Halifax Fest last year, have crossed the Atlantic to play with us in London and Canterbury, and we’re delighted to have them back for LOUD WOMEN Fest Halifax 2026.
New single ‘No Hard Feelings’ is a breakup song without the customary emotional bloodbath. It lives in that weird little space where you already know a relationship probably isn’t going anywhere, but you’re still having quite a nice time, actually. Why ruin Tuesday?

Produced with Adrian Morris of Neon Dreams, ‘No Hard Feelings’ pairs that pleasingly unsentimental outlook with bright pop, hyperpop fizz and enough pop-punk punch to turn impending heartbreak into a proper bop. At one point Burry wonders whether they’re simply bored. Sometimes the devastating truth really is that mundane.
The video has absolutely nothing to do with an amicable breakup, which makes us like it even more. Burry goes full noughties high-school film, starts an underground fight club to deal with bullies and discovers that this is, perhaps predictably, not a watertight plan. Think Mean Girls, Bottoms and Fight Club, then allow everything to go horribly wrong.
‘No Hard Feelings’ is the second single from Burry’s forthcoming EP, and we are already looking forward to hearing it when they return to our Halifax stage in October.
