Local Rainbow, aka Cardiff singer-songwriter Rosie Reed, joins LOUD WOMEN’s Anita Majumdar for a video interview ahead of her appearance at LOUD WOMEN Fest Newport next month.
Rosie already had quite the brush with fame before joining our Newport lineup. In 2025 she stepped onto the famous red-chair stage of Y Llais, S4C’s Welsh-language version of The Voice, performing Chappell Roan’s ‘Good Luck, Babe!’ in Welsh.
Her version was later released as ‘Good Luck,Babe! (Pob Lwc babe)’, and Rosie talks to Anita about the experience, performing in Welsh, her music and what has happened since her Y Llais appearance.
