Our first ever LOUD WOMEN Fest Dublin is now in the history books, and fortunately we have video evidence.

On Saturday 29 August, we took over Fibber Magee’s for nine acts from Ireland, Canada, Australia and the UK. I, Doris kicked things off, followed by Taylor D, Holy Show, Bill Ricky, FOSFÍN, DC Dolls, Second Idol and Dose, before Molly Vulpyne brought the day home.

The film, made by Alise Elberger, gives you a very good idea of why we’re already missing Dublin: brilliant bands, a properly up-for-it crowd, artists watching and cheering each other on, and a room full of people making the kind of music scene we want to exist.

Our first Dublin Fest was about far more than getting nine excellent acts onto a stage. We were proud to work with Safe Gigs Ireland, and to have Alliance for Choice and Abortion Rights Campaign with us on the day too.

Thank you to every artist who played, everyone who travelled, Fibber Magee’s, Team LOUD WOMEN, our volunteers and everyone who bought a ticket, turned up early, stayed late and gave a new LOUD WOMEN Fest such a warm Dublin welcome.

Watch the film above, then go and investigate every band in it.
