Iconic synth duo Uh Huh Her (Camila Grey and Leisha Hailey) return with Nocturnes: Redux 15th Anniversary Reissue, out now via Kill Rock Stars.
The soundtrack to our first Friday of August, Nocturnes: Redux transports us back to the indie sleaze era of 2011, wrapped in the sharp edge of 2026.
The 15th anniversary reissue features never-before-heard original mixes by legendary producer Tchad Blake, alongside the duo’s first new song in over a decade, ‘Shook’, and their reimagining of Sonic Youth’s ‘Kool Thing’. Alongside the album release, Uh Huh Her share new single ‘Debris’.
The story behind Nocturnes is built on the support of their fans. After being dropped by their original label, the duo independently funded the project through crowdsourcing, with their community helping bring the album to life.
Camila shares:
“We had nothing to lose, and everything to gain. It meant the world that our fans directly supported the mixing of the album through online eBay auctions of memorabilia, vinyl, art, and even a couple private dinners, because that enabled us to enlist the powers of the incredible Tchad Blake.”
