Iconic synth duo Uh Huh Her (Camila Grey and Leisha Hailey) return with new single ‘Shook’ from the upcoming reissue of their 2011 album Nocturnes. Nocturnes: Redux is due out 7 August via Kill Rock Stars on digital platforms and as a limited-edition goth confetti vinyl.
‘Shook’ is a contemplative and modern preview of the range of the Nocturnes reissue, adding a more personal layer. Camila shares that the song is “particularly relevant in a time where everything and everyone feels so unstable. We are living through a profound assault on our central nervous systems by the barrage of media we ingest on a daily basis. While “Shook” is more about a personal situation, the title speaks volumes about what we feel as humans on a daily basis.”
