If summer hasn’t been blazing enough for you, LOUD WOMEN Fest NYC alumni Eevie Echoes & the Locations are turning up the temperature with their raunchiest single to date. The overtly political NYC punk/hardcore band have had a very busy year of live shows across the East Coast. After turning heads at Liberation Fest and Break Free Fest this summer, we’re finally getting a glimpse of new music with their single ‘Tell Me You Love Me’.

Inspired by an intense night out with a partner, ‘Tell Me You Love Me’ explores the world of BDSM while maintaining the upbeat, body-moving rhythm that has become a staple of the band’s sound. The queer and BDSM communities have a long, storied history together, and the song focuses on everything that comes to mind when someone mentions a scene: control, impact play, sensory deprivation and rope play.

The lyrics hone in on the high, and the way these elements come together to make you feel something more. Rather than pairing the subject with the slow, sultry sound often found in sexual songs, the band drive the track forward with relentless guitar, cymbal-heavy drums and a happily bouncing bassline. ‘Tell Me You Love Me’ takes you on a ride through its harmonies and keeps that sense of excitement buzzing until the end.
