Boston-based punk trio Linnea’s Garden release their latest EP, Get Heard.
Composed of Linnea Herzog on guitar/vocals, Hands on bass, and Ray on drums, Linnea’s Garden blend ’70s punk, riot grrrl, and goth influences to challenge expectations through a queer femme lens.
With Get Heard, the trio delivers a loud and furious collection of songs, a kaleidoscope of chaos that refuses to hold back from the first track to the last.
“Get Heard is our one-two punch to the mainstream. ‘It’s hard to get heard’ is how it feels to make art in a world that’s constantly trying to shutter independent voices and make us conform. We embrace nuance and imperfection. We refuse to choke out the weird and ugly. We will not be wrapped in a tidy bow. The best things are not meant to be high throughput. We do it ‘cuz we like to do it.”
