Minneapolis band she’s green return with their latest EP, swallowtail.
Known for their enchanting blend of dream pop textures and shoegaze atmospheres, she’s green continue to captivate listeners. Describing their sound as “moss music”, swallowtail invites listeners deeper into the band’s magical forest, where ethereal vocals and dreamy instrumentals create a soundscape that blends light fantasy with reality.
Alongside the release of swallowtail, she’s green unveil the music video for ‘locket’. Vocalist Zofia Smith shares:
“locket” is about the people we try to reach but can’t—the ones who keep their hearts closed off, refusing to open up even when a part of them might long to.”
Guitarist Liam Armstrong shares more about swallowtail:
“Our third ep ‘swallowtail’ is an emergence. An explorative chapter that expands upon the previous two. It laments dreams and memories in the wake of a great transformation and marks a change in our approach to songwriting and recording. It is our first studio-recorded project and our biggest project yet.”
swallowtail is a beautiful EP that takes listeners on a dreamlike journey through memory, self-discovery and imagination, opening the door to what’s next for she’s green.
