Molly Vulpyne joins LOUD WOMEN for a chat ahead of LOUD WOMEN Fest Dublin, where she’ll be joining us for a fantastic day of feminist punk and alternative music at Fibber Magee’s on Saturday 29 August.
Interviewed by BRIT School student Evie Cross, Molly chats about writing songs alone with an acoustic guitar before bringing them to the band, the stories behind her latest album, and why her favourite track, ‘My Expiry’, is all about rejecting the idea that there’s ever a deadline on doing what you love. We also get into the impossible task of describing her sound, balancing punk, indie, grunge and alternative influences, why she’d choose a packed grassroots venue over a huge stage any day, playing three sets at Rebellion Festival, and what she’s got coming next.
Catch Molly Vulpyne live at LOUD WOMEN Fest Dublin alongside Bill Ricky, DC Dolls, Dose, FOSFÍN, Holy Show, I, Doris and Second Idol.
