Nashville singer-songwriter Winston Liv shares new single ‘Sugar Baby’ from their upcoming debut album, Joan of Snark, out 28 August.
On ‘Sugar Baby’, Liv examines a friendship built on a not-so-sweet dynamic, where one person is being taken advantage of. Complete with an infectious chorus, smooth vocals and irresistible hooks, the track is sure to get stuck in your head.
“I wrote the song ‘Sugar Baby’ about a friend I felt only wanted to hang out with me if I was the one paying for everything. I really valued our friendship to the point that I would turn a blind eye to them taking advantage of me.”
