Newdad brought some a light and flowy shoegaze atmosphere to the field on the main stage with a pretty sizable audience in toe.

Lynks was quick to pack out The Meadow Tent for a camp extravaganza (dancers included).

Honeyglaze’s soft indie rock sound was perfect for the Woodland though coming out to Pitbull & Kesha was an unexpected choice when compared to their Radiohead sound.

Our penultimate act for the weekend (for the main stage at least) was none other than Kae Tempest. He is an incredibly meaningful figure to a lot of people who come to Bearded Theory and his ability to bring in a crowd demonstrates that perfectly.

Sunday was headlined by 90’s rock icons, Garbage, packing out the main field for the last 90 minutes of full blown action. Another strong female lead who proved just why there should be more women on stage and doing what they love in front of thousands of people.

As they step off stage, fireworks follow. No one left early to get back to their tent or beat the traffic – they watched in awe and celebrated a weekend well spent.

Overall, the whole festival demonstrated a mix of genres and women in music which a lot of other festivals could take note from.
Spirits were high for the whole weekend which was helped by the weather no doubt and was packed with things to do – whether it be watching a band you’ve never heard of, exploring the village, grabbing a bite to eat or just taking shelter in the shade.

Bearded Theory 2026 was a perfect example of ‘there’s something for everyone’.
