Newcastle-based indie artist Heidi Curtis announces debut EP Hollow Heart, out 29 May via AWAL, and shares new single ‘What Am I Missing?’.
Another thrilling preview of Hollow Heart, ‘What Am I Missing?’ is where clarity is found once getting lost. Heidi shares the following:
“‘What Am I Missing?’ came from a place of deep frustration and burn out. I was putting my all into writing and felt like every road was a dead end, everything felt misaligned and I wanted to get to the centre of what I was feeling but I didn’t know how. In a moment of rage and honesty this song was birthed and with it the answers to what I had been missing all along. It’s the song that I believe gave my sonic identity some clarity and gave me a direction to follow. This song is my own personal reminder that in order to know who you are, you have to have felt lost at some point.”
