London artist and LOUD WOMEN Fest alum (and fam forever) Retropxssy returns with ‘Taste’, capturing that constant, low-level fear of existing as a woman – being out, being seen, being aware – and how that anxiety quietly burrows in. As she puts it:
“‘Taste’ is about the danger I feel as a woman being out at night, being outside at all… just being. It’s about internalising this anxiety and the damage that does.”
Minimal, tense and unsettling, it simmers rather than shouts.
