Renowned UK vocalist Sarah Jane Morris and guitarist Tony Rémy release The Sisterhood 2.
The Sisterhood 2 celebrates legendary artists Patti Smith, Sinéad O’Connor, Peggy Seeger, Etta James, Joan Baez, Dolly Parton, Bonnie Raitt, Joan Armatrading, Janis Ian, Tracy Chapman, and Amy Winehouse. Alongside Morris, Rémy co-wrote and co-produced the album.Through vivid storytelling and beautiful instrumentals, the album honours the women who inspired and shaped Morris.
“I already loved the music of these women, but I actually fell in love with their stories and their bravery while making this record. All of these artists, I feel, were torchbearers.”
