Leeds electro-noise quartet Bathing Suits sign to Underplay Recordings and share new single ‘Empathy’.
Staying true to their mantra, “Always dancey. Always loud. Always sexy“, ‘Empathy’ is a seven-minute noise-trance epic with lingering, hypnotic energy, earning the title of our LOUD WOMEN earworm of the week.
Vocalist and live drum machine operator Freyja Blevins shares:
“It’s about feeling like there’s no empathy left for anyone – like we’ve run out of it or something. The song feels cold, angry, suffocating and tense. But it was really fun writing and working on it together.”
Upcoming live dates:
8th March – The Waterfront Studios, Norwich
10th March – The Mash House, Edinburgh
23rd April – (TGE Presents) The Old Blue Last, London
14th May – The Great Escape Festival, Brighton
12th June – More Women On Stage Festival, Paris, FR
5th September – Manchester Psych Festival, Manchester
