LOUD WOMEN is thrilled to announce our first festival in Japan! We are teaming up with new friends at Japanese “rock for climate” organisation Too Hot to be Cool to host LOUD WOMEN Fest in Tokyo – at the very awesome Shinjuku MARZ venue on Saturday 14 November 2026. Band applications are open now!
Applications are open to women, trans, and non-binary powered bands across punk, alt-rock, indie-pop, and indie-rock. All profits will support a youth-led climate NPO in Southeast Asia.
LOUD WOMEN Fest Tokyo will bring LOUD WOMEN’s globally recognised, community-driven approach to Japan, creating a platform for underrepresented artists while connecting local and international scenes. Since its launch, LOUD WOMEN has built a strong international reputation for delivering high-quality, well-promoted festivals and showcases across the UK, Europe, the USA and Australia. This first Asian edition in Tokyo will benefit from Too Hot to Be Cool’s deep roots in the local scene and community built over 6 editions since 2024.
