Tigers Jaw share their latest single, ‘Primary Colors’, the latest glimpse of their forthcoming LP Lost On You, out 27 March via Hopeless Records.
Composed of Ben Walsh (guitar, vocals), Brianna Collins (keys, vocals), Mark Lebiecki (guitar), Colin Gorman (bass), and Teddy Roberts (drums), Tigers Jaw blend heartfelt songwriting with an emotive rock sound that is intensely vulnerable and relatable.
‘Primary Colors’ reflects on time and memory, with Walsh and Collins’ vocals intertwining, bold and soft instrumentals converging into a bittersweet haze.
“‘Primary Colors’ is about being so wrapped up in the aftermath of something that it overwhelms your senses entirely. When you’re stuck somewhere between reflecting on the ‘what ifs,’ and finding the resolve to move forward. We recreated that mental space in the music video as a performance space that had doorways to memories, journeying through a relationship from the very first sparks to the slow unraveling.”
