LOUD WOMEN Fest 2025 alumni ACTRS (FKA Friend of Franky) from Brighton have released ‘Hear Me Out’, so we finally have a chance to listen to the studio version of the beautiful track we first heard played acoustic (and with less sweary lyrics!) on the LOUD WOMEN radio show on Resonance 104.4FM back in July. Now we can hear the song they describe as “a love letter to queer situationships and the chaos that tends to follow” in all its glory!
The song is cheerful, soft and at the same time so relatable. Kit’s voice is so magical, you can hear every note and feel all the feelings from the original story that is so beautifully described in lyrics, so easily conveyed to me, that I can easily visualise everything that ACTRS share with us.
When ACTRS were performing at the LOUD WOMEN Fest 2025 everyone came upstairs to listen to the harmony between Kit and Anna. Luckily, I was there and heard ‘Hear Me Out’ once again. I was so happy that I knew the song, and being in the crowd made this song even more special for me.
