Between weekends at ACL Fest Wet Leg and Japanese Breakfast were originally set to play separate shows on the same night at Houston’s White Oak Music Hall. Instead of splitting the crowd, they combined forces and turned it into one joint show, a mini festival full of shared energy, openers, and a lineup that felt way more special than just a stop between festivals.
After a dreamy and melancholic set from Japanese Breakfast, Wet Leg took the stage. The band consisting of original members Rhian Teasdale (vocals, guitar), Hester Chambers (guitar, backing vocals), as well as Henry Holmes (drums), Josh Mobaraki (synths, keys), and Ellis Durand (bass) opened their set with ‘Catch These Fists’, kicking things off with energy right away. They leaned hard into their 2025 album Moisturizer, playing almost every track from it. Along with those, they mixed in fan favorites like ‘Chaise Longue’, ‘Wet Dream’, and ‘Angelica’. The set was a solid mix of new and old that kept the crowd engaged the whole time.
Rhian owned the stage from the moment she stepped out, moving with a mix of confidence and ease that made it clear she was completely in her element. Hester’s gritty, precise riffs gave the set its edge. Though she mostly stayed at the back of the stage, her playing spoke volumes. With the newest members of the band made permanent additions this year the five of them have hit their stride, sounding sharper and more confident than ever. This lineup makes Wet Leg feel complete and unstoppable.
They ended with ‘CPR’, a highlight from Moisturizer that left the crowd buzzing. The night wrapped up feeling like a celebration of everything that makes Wet Leg great, catchy songs, genuine stage presence, and a no-nonsense attitude.
Wet Leg continue their world wide tour in North America, Europe, the UK and Australia through February 2026.
