Witch Fever aren’t here to play. With their new single ‘The Garden’, the Manchester four-piece prove once again why they’re leading the charge in genre-defying alt-rock. Blending doom-laden atmospherics with punk ferocity, this track is as hard-hitting as it is haunting. It opens with distorted alt-rock riffs, building into an emotionally charged anthem of liberation – one that twists religious symbolism into a savage rallying cry against patriarchal control.
Produced by Chris W. Ryan, The Garden gives us a taste of what’s to come on their highly anticipated second album, FEVEREATEN, due out on 31 October. If this single is anything to go by, the record will be heavier, darker, and more experimental than their debut Congregation. Witch Fever have always been unafraid to dig into their darkest places, and with this new era, they’re exploring trauma, mental health, and the need to reclaim power.
