G Flip’s glorious new single Big Ol’ Hammer has dropped just in time for Pride, and it’s a total anthem. A mix of ‘80s vibes, raised eyebrows and pure queer joy, the track is camp, cheeky, and impossible not to love. As G Flip puts it, “This is probably the queerest song I’ve ever written,” and it’s hard to argue.
The video? Iconic. G Flip and a crew of queer icons – including Fortune Feimster, Shannon Beveridge, Aisha Dee, Jacqueline Toboni, and more – are all in on the fun. They’re performing a gloriously sapphic dance routine in G’s Lez Go! auto shop. It’s a hilarious, playful, and unabashedly queer celebration, and honestly, we could all use a little more of that in our lives.
