We’re throwing a glorious half-dayer at one of our most beloved London venues – The Lexington – on Sunday 3 August, to whet your appetite for the punk pilgrimage that is Rebellion Festival. Featuring a handpicked line-up of LOUD WOMEN favourites – bands who’ll be joining us in Blackpool the following weekend, or just friends of the LOUD WOMEN cause – this is your chance to see some of the fiercest live acts on the circuit before they hit the big stages.
Here’s who’s joining us:
🤡 Anarchistwood – Legendary prank-punk troublemakers Anarchistwood bring their swirling blend of psychedelia, punk, performance art and riot-grrrl fire to the stage. They’ve shared many a bill with LOUD WOMEN bands and supported our scene from the sidelines for years – now we’re delighted to welcome them onto our own stage at last. Expect the unexpected – and then some.
🐄 COWZ – Brighton’s glitter-flecked queer alt-pop duo COWZ made their LOUD WOMEN debut earlier this year and we fell hard for their sparkly synths, deadpan humour, and crunchy hooks. Come for the bubblegum melodies, stay for the radical queerness.
🎸 The Dollheads – The Dollheads are a Las Vegas sibling trio who embody the future of punk: young, loud, tight as hell. They played LOUD WOMEN Fest in 2023 and Rebellion Fest in 2024, and they’re friends for life now – we’re thrilled to bring them to The Lexington.
☕️ Goo – Fuzzy and fiercely catchy, Goo deliver infectious indie-punk from West Yorkshire, blending wry lyrics with heart-on-sleeve melodies. With a reputation for chaotic, cathartic live shows and songs that hit you where it hurts (and then hug you after), they’re a perfect fit for our Rebellion preview.
💋 I, Doris – No LOUD WOMEN gig is complete without our house band I, Doris – pioneers of mummycore and champions of feminist punk mischief. Fresh from playing our NYC Fest, they’ll be packing the inflatables and bringing their pop-punk bangers to this homecoming show before heading to Blackpool the following week.
🔥 Las Fokin Biches – Explosive punk energy all the way from Irapuato, Mexico! Las Fokin Biches are brand new to the LOUD WOMEN family, and we can’t wait to welcome them to a London stage for the first time. Their sound is raw, raucous and radical – the perfect addition to our Rebellion preview party.
💔 Quick Romance – Shiny post-punk power from Bath, Quick Romance are a thrilling addition to this line-up. New to the LOUD WOMEN fold, but already firm favourites in our extended DIY family – their glam-punk style, taut melodies and lyrical bite are not to be missed.
