London’s feminist theatre-punks Twat Union today dropped their debut EP Don’t Look It In The Eye and it’s a wild ride from start to finish. Packed with razor-sharp wit, driving riffs, and the band’s signature mix of chaos and comedy, this is the sound of a group that knows exactly what they’re about – and couldn’t care less if it makes anyone uncomfortable. This is our LOUD WOMEN

From the punchy opener ‘Little Pink Drill’ to the brilliantly self-aware ‘Singer of the Band,’ Twat Union tackle everyday sexism, dating disasters, and bodily mishaps with a knowing grin and a wall of noise.

‘Red Flag’ is a breakneck punk anthem for anyone who’s ever ignored the obvious signs in a relationship (haven’t we all?), while ‘Danger Boob’ might be the first song to turn a wardrobe malfunction into a feminist battle cry.

And, of course, there’s ‘UTI’ – a song that somehow makes a burning bladder sound like the start of a party.

Having already built a reputation for their anarchic, immersive live shows, Twat Union are celebrating the release with a gig at The Lexington on 5 April, before heading to Brighton’s Prince Albert on 27 April for a LOUD WOMEN matinée alongside Shallow Honey. Expect props, shouting, and possibly a raffle.

Equal parts hilarious, furious, and ridiculously fun, Don’t Look It In The Eye is a strong debut from a band that’s already making serious waves. Turn it up loud, and get yourself to a gig – this lot are only just getting started.

Twat Unions’ debut EP Don’t Look It In The Eye is released 4th April 2025 via Alcopop! Records
