LA-based Niis (pronounced “Nice”) just dropped ‘The Bow’, the latest single from their new album Niis World, slated for 28 March via Get Better Records.
‘The Bow’ is an explosive mix of grunge and hardcore. ‘Live Through This’ era Hole with the screamy goodness of Surfbort, Scowl and Mannequin Pussy. It’s a checklist of bands I love. I’m genuinely excited to hear the rest of the album when it’s released later this month.
The band’s guitarist shares:
“The powers that be want us to pit against each other, they don’t want us to connect, well, it’s actually more punk to not be pitted against each other, it’s more about community, connecting, and being good to each other.”
In other words, be nice like Niis.
