Swedish multi-instrumentalist Sofia Härdig shares gothic noir single ‘Pale Fire’ – taken from upcoming self-produced album Lighthouse of Glass, out 11 April.

In collaboration with Bebe Risenfors, Härdig created a dark and cinematic track that is unforgettable. Härdig wrote ‘Pale Fire’ in creative isolation where it grew into a brooding and haunting work of art.

“I wrote on my own in solitude for almost two years. I read a lot, wrote a lot, and recorded more than hundred of songs. I was in this cave of writing.”

Härdig reflects on Risenfors’ contributions to ‘Pale Fire’:

“I remember opening the song on my phone and listening on headphones while sitting in a park. I started crying and listened on repeat. The best birthday gift ever.”

‘Pale Fire’ is an ember of creative spark. Photographer and close friend Jessica Nettelblatt found inspiration from ‘Pale Fire’ for the accompanying visuals.
