Brooklyn duo Pink Must recently announced their self-titled debut album and shares opening track ‘Morphe Sun’.

Pink Must is co-led by sound artists and musicians Mari Maurice (aka More Eaze) and Lynn Avery. The highly anticipated self-titled album is set for release on 28 February via Danish label 15 love

‘Morphe Sun’ sets the tone for Pink Must’s debut and a look into the glitchy soundscape of this duo.

“The song is almost a remix of itself. Mari sent me a song and I cut it to pieces and sent it back. She then wrote a second verse and it turned into a pop song.”

Lynn Avery

“This song is a fictional one and tells the story of someone so vain and image-obsessed that they can’t even enjoy a sunset unless it matches their eyeshadow palette. It’s sung from the perspective of a lover or friend trying to find the best in them and the situation.”
