Our favourite Las Vegas teen siblings The Dollheads just dropped a slice of pop-punk-perfection in new single ‘Teenage Runaway’, a collaboration with legend Fat Mike of NOFX, and tribute to rocknroll queen Joan Jett.
The single is out now on Fat Wreck Chords – Fat Mike’s record label – and the accompanying video features a cameo from the large dude himself.
“During the COVID quarantine, we binged Freaks and Geeks over and over again. Its opening song, Joan Jett’s “Bad Reputation,” had us so obsessed that we’d never skip the intro. Around this time, our band started writing music, drawing inspiration from musicians like Joan Jett and the Ramones to dive into punk. Teenage Runaway is the perfect tribute to the woman who inspired us and started it all: Joan Jett.”
The Dollheads played LOUD WOMEN Fest back in 2023, and our stage at Rebellion Festival this summer. Thrilled to say they’ll be back at Rebellion in summer 2025 and you bet we’ll be pestering them to play some more gigs while they’re in the UK too, so watch this space!
