Team LOUD WOMEN is looking for volunteer writers, photographers, editors, content creators, organizers, and music lovers!
Our lovely friendly team is a group of all genders and ages, worldwide, who help the LOUD WOMEN CIC not-for-profit organisation on our mission to put more women and non-binary musicians on more stages, and turn up the volume. We contribute to the running of the loudwomen.org music blog, the LOUD WOMEN events and festivals, the radio show, social media accounts, and lots more. We always welcome help and collaboration with likeminded people who want to get involved.
If you are interested in finding out more, we’d love it if you joined us for our open orientation on Sunday 6 October, 6pm BST, on zoom. It’ll be a friendly chat about the work we do, some information about our behind-the-scenes systems, and a chance to meet other awesome music lovers.

FAQ:
Q: I’m a musician and I want to play a gig/get on your playlist/have my new single reviewed – shall I come to the meeting?
A: We’re looking for people who want to get active in the scene to help other musicians, as well as themselves. So do come along if you’re up for helping out too!
Q: Are Team LOUD WOMEN volunteers paid?
A: Stewards and helpers at LW events are reimbursed expenses. We do not currently have budget to reimburse writers or photographers with anything other than passes for events/festivals they are covering. All artists playing LW events are paid fair rates.
Q: I’m a cis man, can I help?
A: Hell yes! All genders are welcome on our beautifully diverse team, and writing/photographing for our site is a great way to be any ally. The only people not welcome on our team are racists, terfs and Tories.
Q: I can’t make the meeting/hate zoom – can I join the team anyway?
A: Sure! Fill out the form anyway so we have your details and we can take it from there.
