Australian-born, Glasgow-based artist Zerrin shares a hauntingly beautiful video for her single ‘Spring Cleaning’ – taken from Zerrin’s recently released EP Talking to Myself

On ‘Spring Cleaning’, Zerrin captures melancholy and joy powered by nostalgic folk pop .The accompanying video was shot on 16mm film on a rare sunny day in the pastoral hills of Ayrshire.

“’Spring Cleaning’ is about change and time passing, it was inspired by a difficult family time last year—a period of grief that made me hyper-aware of how quickly time moves. It’s this whirlwind of big emotions, both joyful and sad, like the mad scramble to do enough and be enough, all while trying to distract myself with tasks. But at the same time, it’s about the danger of getting lost in those details and losing sight of what’s truly important.”
