The soundtrack to our Friday the 13th is from NYC band Shower Curtain and their latest single ‘benadryl man’. The single is the latest look into Shower Curtain’s debut album words from a wishing well, out 18 October.

“‘benadryl man’ tells the story of my issues with sleeping and anxiety. I see a figure sitting on my couch and it prevents me from entering a stage of peace, moreover not feeling safe in my home. The instrumentals are a little sinister and creepy, and I always envisioned having strings on this.”

Victoria Winter

Zach Mezzo (Catcher) and Wil Ren (Wince) contributed the violin and cello to complete the sinister edge to this track. The accompanying video features artwork by artist Kati Kirsch and direction from Winter and bassist Cody Hudgins

Upcoming show:
23 September: Baby’s All Right – Brooklyn, NY *
