Sister punk duo Girl Tones shares their debut single ‘Fade Away’. Kenzie and Laila are classically trained musicians: Kenize transitioned from cello to guitar and Laila shifted from piano to drums. Girl Tones are creating their own signature sound and we can’t wait to hear more from this rising duo.
On ‘Fade Away’ Girl Tones blends punk and blues rock through a gritty filter. Guitarist and vocalist Kenzie shares the following about ‘Fade Away’:
“‘Fade Away’ is about being vulnerable and slowly getting burned over and over again by someone you love, to the point you have to move on with your life. You’re hurt, you’re angry, you’re owed an apology.”
