West Midlands born artist Izzy S.O shares her third EP, Homesick.

Izzy’s sound is nostalgic and refreshing, blending 90s grunge angst and 2000s alternative pop. On Homesick, Izzy slows down and finds peace against chaotic moments and personal hurdles.

‘When we are caught up in the madness of everything – life can feel overwhelming and scary but if you take a moment to slow down and sit back from yourself, then there is peace behind the chaos.’

Alongside Homesick, Izzy shares reflective single ‘Suddenly it’s Easy’. Izzy shares the following about the personal story behind ‘Suddenly it’s Easy’:

“I have struggled with OCD since I was about thirteen, it made me feel like I needed to be perfect and it added a lot of pressure to things that I could have enjoyed had they not been clouded by the OCD part of my brain that feels the need to control everything. ‘Suddenly it’s Easy’ is about finding the space to breathe, finding the space to enjoy my life – it’s about being free of the idea that I need to be perfect and just trusting that things are going to be ok.”

Homesick is where Izzy S.O sets a solid foundation for her brilliant future in music.

“I hope that my music can help people in the ways that songs have helped me in the past.”
