Leeds icons Crumbs are back with a banging new single to celebrate their new album launch, with a nostalgia packed video to boot. ‘Dear Deirdre’ is almost cheerfully existential, giving a poppy punk voice to that all-too-familiar hysteria that happens when the universe presses down on you and you just want somebody – anybody – to hear. Don’t misunderstand me, this is a really fun song, made even better by the Dream-Phone centred video – absolute genius and very entertaining!

“Dear Deirdre is a song about yet another existential crisis – and the almost ridiculousness of trying to navigate it.”
