Brighton’s Lime Garden are starting 2024 with aplomb! Their absolutely gorgeous new track ‘Mother’ is out now, so quick after their previous single ‘I Want To Be With You’ we didn’t even get chance to share that one!
“This song is about the relationship with my mother evolving in tandem with my personal growth coming into adulthood. Coming to the understanding that my mother is just like me, someone trying their best to figure out life and not knowing 100% of the answers was a scary but beautiful realisation which bonded us. It’s cool how relationships shift and transform to match each phase of life. The song is the culmination of those feelings during adolescence and the realisation as an adult to appreciate our mothers.”

Lime Garden’s debut album One More Thing is slated for 16 February on So Young Records. The band have also announced a big fat US tour, with shows in New York, Chicago, San Francisco and Los Angeles slated for May.
One More Thing will be available in standard red vinyl, a special Dinked edition Cornetto vinyl, and a special Lime Garden edition blue vinyl HERE.
Lime Garden announced their 2024 headline EU tour at the back end of last year, including Vida Showcase in Barcelona and Motel Mozaique Festival in Rotterdam in April. The band will also be embarking on an in-store tour around the record’s release, before their biggest UK headline tour to date, commencing on 27 February at YES (Pink Room) in Manchester and culminating with a hometown show at Chalk in Brighton on 8 March.
