Gateshead-based singer-songwriter/guitarist Hannah Robinson returns with psychedelic single ‘Rosie’. Known for her hypnotic vocals, Robinson creates her own realm that feels like a fever dream with each release. ‘Rosie’ is a hazy track with a clear message about self-awareness and femininity.
“‘Rosie’ is all about female empowerment. It’s about recognising your beauty and seeing yourself through the eyes of those who appreciate you the most. So many of us look in the mirror and don’t recognise ourselves when in reality we are beautiful the way we are! I wrote this song as a love letter to myself when I lacked confidence, affirming the thoughts “I am freedom, I am so appealing, I help people’s healing, when they need it” and the more I told myself it, the more I believed it. I wanted this song to embrace the feeling of being my authentic self!”
