Bolton’s Pageant Mum release their latest EP, Finis Amoris Est.
Fronted by Izzy Ingham, Pageant Mum is a rising UK punk and post-hardcore band delivering urgent vocals, raw guitar riffs, and heart-pounding beats.
Finis Amoris Est, Latin for “It is the end of love,” is a fitting title for an EP that takes us through the emotional aftermath of a breakup, capturing the spiralling anger and conflict that follow.
The closing track, ‘The War of Me and You’, is the first Pageant Mum release to feature Liam on lead vocals, delivering a dynamic and introspective finale to the EP.
Finis Amoris Est may mark the end of love, but it is also a reminder of Pageant Mum’s potential and an act to look out for.
