In the midst of the tour that’s taking them to some of the biggest scenes of the world (Lollapalooza Chicago, Coachella), the band takes the time to give us new material !
The Linda Lindas ‘Resolution/Revolution’ takes you on a fast-paced journey through dark and retro. The song is a call to action deeply grounded by Eloise’s powerful baseline and flourishing with some of their grooviest vocals yet. A lyric video was made to accompany the song and honor the long lasting punk tradition of DIY (directed and written by the band and featuring clips made with their phones).
The L.A based punk band became popular after one of their performances went viral. Ever since, a deal with Epitaph records, a highly praised debut album, two acclaimed singles, some non-stop concerts and the chance to meet and play with some of their biggest inspirations (Bikini Kill, Sleater Kinney and Paramore).
The lyrics of ‘Resolution/Revolution’ are effective and as the band said ‘it morphed into composition about making small dents in big problems to make a difference in the long run”. We do hope they keep on running !
