Today’s #VideooftheDay is another belter from Grrrl Gang, the awesome Indonesian trio we’ve loved for a whole month now. To celebrate the bandiversary they’ve gifted us ‘Rude Awakening’, and we heart it.
This pop-punk party comes with a beautifully shot video which continues the movie begun with debut single Spunky! – our heroine, Bella, is a shy girl at a cool party, feeling awkward and out of place, and drawn to the awesome band. It’s highly relatable situation.
(Hopefully at some point Bella will realise that house parties are always dreadful, and those ‘cool’ kids are all assholes, and she should just start a punk band and all her problems will be solved.)
