Back in January 2021 we tipped you of that carina was one Young Loud Woman to look out for. Fast forward to our first show of 2023 and we've booked her to come play for us at the Piper in St Leonards on Thurs 9th Feb. So you have an idea about the music ahead of the show we asked some questions for you!
1. For people who’ve not heard you play live before, what can we expect from you at the LOUD WOMEN gig?
a fun back and forth between indie rock and alt beats
2. What’s the most important thing we need to know about your band right now?
we have a bunch of new music coming out soon!!! And also it’s carina with a lowercase c lol never uppercase c
3. If you could add any musician (live or dead) to your band lineup, who would it be?
I feel like Oscar Jerome would probably fit in lol. If you asked every band member they’d have a different answer.
4. Pass the mic – who are your top 3 contemporary bands?
Mercury. They are so sick.
Tommy Lefroy, fire.
Unfortunately this one is a boy band but Worry Club is also fire.
