Coming to play our LOUD WOMEN (on sea) Club night on Thurs 3 Nov, Television Screams are a London-based 4-piece angry femme punk band. They released their first two singles in 2020 then had a bit of a hiatus. Now they are back! We asked them a few questions ahead of the show...
1. For people who’ve not heard you play live before, what can we expect from you at the LOUD WOMEN gig?
Sexy chaos! Probably also fake blood.
2. What’s the most important thing we need to know about your band right now?
We’ve just released our brand-new single, ‘Uncomfortably Numb’! It’s been a long time coming and we’re all really excited about it – it’s one of our favourite tracks to play live, and we really hope everything likes it as much as we all do.
3. If you could add any musician (live or dead) to your band lineup, who would it be?
Peter Steele! We’re all massive Type O Negative fans, their cover of ‘Angry Inch’ from Hedwig & The Angry Inch one of our collective favourite songs.
4. Pass the mic – who are your top 3 contemporary bands?
Wargasm, Crashface, and Joe & The Shitboys!
