North East artist Sarah Johnsone released her latest single, ‘Hurricane’.

Written during the second lockdown, ‘Hurricane’ is about the uncertainty and anxiety around when things will go back to ‘normal’.

“Writing this tune was a cathartic process for me. It was during the second lockdown, and I was feeling very anxious as I assumed everyone was. I felt that I’d lost my sense of self, and even if life were to immediately go back to normal, I wouldn’t know how to exist. However, creating this song helped to validate my feelings and bring me some sort of peace.”
