Brighton's Warning Signal are playing LOUD WOMEN Club at the Piper in St Leonards/Hastings on Sat 6 Aug. It's their first show for us here at LOUD WOMEN so we wanted to get to know them a bit better...
- For people who’ve not heard you play live before, what can we expect from you at the LOUD WOMEN gig?
Warning Signal are a mixture of good and evil. We draw you in with our nice clean pop vocals and destroy you with our heavy crunching riffs haha! Think Gwen Stefani covering Slipknot songs.
2. What’s the most important thing we need to know about your band right now?
We are a band for everyone and we want to show people our age that you can play and listen to anything you want without discrimination. We want to show that us girls can shred too! We are also currently working with some pretty cool people and we are going to have something sick to show you in the future. We can’t wait.
3. If you could add any musician (live or dead) to your band lineup, who would it be?
There’s lots of great women out there in rock right now. I’d love to have Heather from Pale Waves playing second guitar and singing with me. Also Cassyette has an incredible voice so i’d love to have her as main vocalist moshing out on stage haha.
4. Pass the mic – who are your top 3 contemporary bands?
Continuing from 3, I’m currently loving Cassyette, Nova Twins and Yonaka.
