Detroit’s own Josie Pace kicks the February gloom away with her new electro-rock album IV0X10V5.

IV0X10V5 takes the listener on an intense emotional journey through soundscapes of electronic harmonies and powerful drums. Emotions are very close to the surface throughout the album, and Josie has an enviable talent for expressing complex feelings with profound simplicity.

My personal favourite track was ‘Perfect Replacement’ (or, as I like to call it, ‘the overthinker’s anthem’) because it showcased that ability so well. The beauty of IV0X10V5 is that it doesn’t wallow in these feelings, it liberates them. Seriously. Whether it is self-destructive tendencies, relationship issues, or friendship angst that you need catharting, Josie has got you covered!
