This Valentine’s Day, Washington DC’s Flowerbomb delivers a new video for their track ‘Sorry’, from 2020 album Pretty Dark. It’s a great song to revisit on Valentine’s.

With all the societal pressures and judgements flying around today, ‘Sorry’ is a welcome reminder that love (and its absence) can be a mess of conflicting emotions, intense vulnerability and, in some cases, even trauma. The vocal distortions bookending the track seem perfect representations of this confusion and self-doubt. But there is a reassurance in Flowerbomb’s articulation of these complex feelings that, if you are feeling them today, you are not alone.
