From October 20th at the Key Club in Leeds, until Friday October 29th at the Electric Ballroom in London, Calva Louise were on tour with headliners Trash Boat, and two other support bands in Strange Bones and Death Blooms. Oh, and I was photographer.

Jess is guitarist, song writer, film maker, artist, multi-lingual goddess, and singer, of Calva Louise. She was also invited to sing a part of Trash Boat’s song Bad Entertainment (usually sung by Milkie Way) every night of the tour and it was definitely one of the many highlights. The rest, I hope, are visible through the photos I took! I asked Jess a few (very quick) questions about the tour…

What was your favourite date of the tour, for a) audience and b) performance?
Leeds, and London

Favourite piece of merch you’ve bought from another band?
Highly Suspect Zelda inspired shirt!

Any tips for touring?
Have an amazing TM, if you can. Ours is a lifesaver. And an amazing photographer!
