Fräulein: 5 question interview

Dynamic duo Fräulein are playing our Summer Party on 14 August at the Hope & Anchor! We asked them to take our 5 question interview and here is what happened next …

1. For people who’ve not heard you play live before, what can we expect from you at the LOUD WOMEN gig?

Our goal is to be as loud as possible with only two people. Bring your earplugs.

2. What’s the most important thing we need to know about your band right now?

We’re goofballs, but we take the band pretty seriously. It’s not cool to say, but we try really hard, we’re eager and we really want to connect with anyone who’s listening to us. [Sounds pretty cool to us.]

3. If you *had* to do a cover at the gig, what cover would you choose to play?

‘Doe’ by The Breeders. It’s a really short, fun and oddly structured song that we love playing in rehearsals when we’re getting bored of our own stuff.

4. Pass the mic – who are your top 3 contemporary bands?

Big Thief, Sorry and ARXX (our spiritual advisers).

5. Draw us a picture…

Doodle by Karsten: “beating a dead horse!”
