We are delighted to bring you today the premiere of single ‘Time Travel’ by brand new funky post-punk band Partefacts. The release is a delicious taster of forthcoming EP Lifestyle Blob.
Partefacts are Canadian multi-instrumentalist Christa Belle and Australian producers Lani Bagley and Craig Schuftan of Ducks!. “Born in Berlin after a big night out morphed into a day of instrument swapping and studio experimentation”, Partefacts is a superfun artpop sound casserole.
To give you a headsup on the world we’re entering with Partefacts, the band state that this song tells tale of a “three-eyed non-committal space boyfriend who hops around the timeline the way people used to fly EasyJet”. Kinda relate, and very much love. They claim influences of the mighty Delta 5 and DFA, and we also catch a delightful whiff of Talking Heads and Le Tigre. Looking forward to the EP!
